Plenary Session: Enterprise Engagement in Action

Enterprise engagement has arrived. More and more companies of all sizes are embracing an enterprise approach to engagement to achieve financial and other critical business goals. The program kicks off with cases studies from two very different types of companies: a major supplier of natural gas to consumers and a leading casino chain. Barbara Porter will share her organization’s efforts to align customer and employee marketing and engagement using tools provided by engagement leader Allegiance Inc. Jim White and Julia Carcamo will outline Isle of Capri’s “See. Say. Smile.” campaign that engages employees in a compelling way to systematically delight casino customers.

The focus on Engagement and the need to create a culture of performance has created a greater need than ever for rewards and recognition strategies that foster alignment, integrated branding and a positive environment in the workplace. This session will look at the new ways that organizations are using rewards and recognition in Enterprise Engagement. Speakers will share the latest research on motivation and how it fits into an overall Engagement strategy. Recognition Professionals International (RPI) will be offering its CRP II: Strategic Planning & Measurement course on Thursday, June 2. The course will cover targeted skills and tools needed by Certified Recognition Professionals (CRP) to set strategy, develop budgets and create meaningful measurements. Participants in this course will be able to align recognition directly to corporate strategic initiatives. In addition, they will learn the importance of ensuring that realistic budget measurements are in place to support their plans.
